Intro to Ireland + Links Page

Updated: Aug 28, 2019

hello from Giant's Causeway!

I’m sitting on a crowded plane 35,000 feet in the air on my way back to Arizona from Ireland. This time last year, I had no idea I’d be traveling internationally, let alone to Ireland. Even in the beginning of the year I had this wish to go to this enchanted country and had no idea how it would happen. And here I am, on my way home from two adventure packed weeks on the Emerald Isle, with so much learned, experienced, and integrated into my life. Two weeks in another country feels like going to another world for months - especially with everything we did in each day. Austin and I got married last summer and never took a honeymoon, so we were excited at the opportunity to take two weeks for just the two of us and explore without limits. We rented a car and drove over 2500 kilometers around Ireland in that time, as well as walked 84 miles on numerous hiking trails and small villages. Also, in those two weeks we found ourselves high in the sky in a mini-helicopter, climbing to the top of one of the many mountains in Southern Ireland, bathing in hot sea water seeping with fresh seaweed, and the list goes on!

Join me on an Adventure Across Ireland here as I share what we did on a day to day basis during our honeymoon here. None of what I share in my posts is sponsored, however I share it to share my stories and experiences while abroad, hoping to inspire you to take a leap and travel somewhere you’ve always wanted to go! These posts will be helpful too if you’re traveling to Ireland for the first time and have no idea what to expect!

This intro page will serve as a Table of Contents for the trip. Click on each day below! Each blog post will share what we did, where we stayed, and what we found to eat. Posts that are not for each individual day will serve as guides for information about transportation, food and eating, finding accommodations, finding things to do, and other travel site information. I’ll even share some of my personal journal entries from the trip, little ponderings from my mind about my personal life. Enjoy!

I will drop affiliate links to some items I used on this trip, like my hiking shoes, backpack, camera and gear, and so on, as well as my Air Bnb referral link (If it’s your first time using Air Bnb, get $30 off your first booking by clicking on my link! You will help me fund my future bookings with Air Bnb :). If you’d like to help me out on future travel endeavors, and to help me continue on creating videos, blog posts, books, and photos clicking on these links helps out every little bit. (Don’t worry, you’re not actually paying anything, its more of like I’m “advertising” by genuinely sharing my favorite things I use every day and I get a tiny percentage of a sale. To learn more about affiliate links, click here, or if you don’t care too much then keep reading!)

Anyways, here’s to the next few weeks filled with greenery and fairies, hiking adventures and legendary castles. Stay tuned on Instagram and Facebook for blog post updates, and I’ll be posting on YouTube at least once a week! If you want to get updates in your email inbox, sign up for my mailing list below and I’ll send you an email each week or two with all the links to my posts.

Love you guys, and talk to you soon!
